DIAMOND JEWELRY
Always in style and a gift that lasts a lifetime, diamond stud earrings, diamond hoop earrings or the classic solitaire pendant continue to be the top of the list. If you’re looking for a bigger statement look, consider a diamond set in a halo style. This style, with small diamonds surrounding a larger stone, will give the appearance of a much bigger diamond. Remember one thing: Let the diamond speak to you. HOOP EARRINGS
Beyond classic diamond jewelry, the latest trends include some old favorites. This holiday season it’s all about being a little bolder. Asymmetrical hoops and abstract shapes are what’s popular. Believe it or not, mismatched earrings are a real fashion statement!
STACKABLE RINGS
Ring in the holiday season with rings galore. Stacking is where it’s at for fine jewelry. Thin gemstone bands in various metals are very popular. Some of our favs are from Sethi Couture. Layer them like crazy! Chunky rings are also popular and worn on the middle finger or pinkie.
LAYERED NECKLACES
Looking to layer? 2017 was all about the choker, and this year is all about layered necklaces and chains. Pile them on. Yellow gold is still trending. Surprise! The biggest new (old) trend is pearls. We really haven’t seen them on the fashion pages or Christmas lists in a while, but, this year it’s all about statement pearls. And, since layering is so popular, consider wearing more than one strand. I love going to the St. Julien during the holidays. The fireplace in the lobby is a wonderful place to hang out and have a glass of wine. They also have live music on the weekends and their NYE party is amazing – if you have haven’t been, you should go this year!

Sanitas Brewing Company has an amazing IPA! It’s a great place to enjoy a snowy mountain view, beer, and tacos. You can’t beat it for a holiday happy hour in Boulder.

One of our go-to restaurants is the 1914 House in Niwot. It has a beautiful interior and the selection of wines is just to my liking. We love to sit by the firepit outside in early fall… it’s absolutely the best and so romantic! Of course, when the really cold weather hits, we grab a table inside. Snuggling next to my honey and having a delicious meal – what could be better?

Whether its why my girlfriends or with my husband, nothing beats Brasserie Ten Ten. Sitting in front of the windows, enjoying a glass of rose and watching the snow fall – a perfect afternoon during the holidays.
